London, 6 December 2016 - Leading research agency, Kantar TNS, is delighted to be named winner of four highly acclaimed awards at the distinguished Market Research Society Awards, held at Supernova London last night. The ceremony celebrating the industry’s ability to drive innovation, inspire change and deliver results attracted over 800 of the biggest and brightest in the industry, celebrating business to business research, social media analytics, consumer insights and much more.
A panel of judges chose the ‘best of the best’ in marketing excellence from more than 1000 entries. The first accolade, in collaboration with our sister company Lightspeed, was awarded for Business-to-Business Research and the highly acclaimed ‘Business Minds’ project. ‘Business Minds’ utilises innovative techniques to increase engagement with a traditionally hard-to-reach audience, to encourage richer dialogue with participants. The approach has resulted in a more detailed understanding of the diverse and important SME market in the UK.
The second award, for New Consumer Insights, recognised Kantar TNS' contribution to the Scottish Government organ donation project. The project showcased how social media helped to unlock a deeper understanding of the public’s perception of organ donation and the types of messages which motivated the different target audiences to sign-up to the register.
The third award, for Social Media Research, was awarded in recognition of our work which harnessed social media data to identify growth opportunities for Unilever’s food business.
The final and most prestigious accolade of the evening, the MRS Grand Prix for Greatest Impact, was awarded to the Scottish Government organ donation project. This is a massive achievement in what was a very competitive category and I am particularly proud that we won the award for our contribution to such a worthwhile initiative”.
