LONDON - 10th December - Leading custom research agency TNS UK has been awarded 'Best Agency (turnover above £20million)' at the MRS Awards 2013. In taking the award, which recognises excellence among the largest players in the sector, TNS UK beat off competition from BDRC Group, BrainJuicer and GfK UK.

TNS UK's success was accredited to a "strong transformation story and impressive financials", with MRS judges saying:

"TNS has demonstrated a strong turnaround with a marked improvement in its financial performance, its current state of play reflects a sense of genuine momentum which shows it is doing something different; something that is not always easy for a large organisation operating within a highly competitive marketplace."

Maureen Duffy, TNS UK CEO commented:

"This is a fantastic achievement and is brilliant recognition for the massive strides we've collectively made as an organisation across the last eighteen months. To be recognised by our clients and our peers is testament to the hard work everyone at TNS UK has put in. I’m incredibly proud to work with such a talented group of individuals. We look forward to working with many more brands in 2014, ensuring that we deliver top quality actionable insight that helps drive growth for our clients.”
