London: 4 November, 2013 - Global research consultancy Kantar TNS, has today announced the appointment of Vishy Rajagopal S. as Regional Director, Operations for Asia Pacific. Vishy, who held the post of Vice President, Operations for Kantar TNS India for five years until 2009, re-joins the company from Nielsen where he has been in regional Head of Data Acquisition roles for Middle East, Africa & Pakistan, and South Asia.

In this new role, Vishy’s initial priorities will be completing Kantar TNS’s transition to 100 percent electronic data collection, including rolling out the use of tablets across APAC to drive respondent engagement and ensure reduced delivery times. Kantar TNS is committed to generating real insights for clients, underpinned by robust data; Vishy will be responsible for leading world-class operations throughout Asia Pacific in support of this goal.

Vishy has over 20 years’ experience in the research industry, having held a variety of roles at Kantar TNS and Nielsen. Vishy joins Kantar TNS in November and will be based in Bangalore.
