1st July, 2013; SINGAPORE – Kantar TNS has appointed Nitin Nishandar as Regional Managing Director for the Brand & Communication practice in Asia Pacific, reporting to Chris Riquier, CEO, Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Nitin brings 18 years research industry experience to his new role and 12 years in Asia.
Chris, said, “Nitin is a strong, client-centric leader who has extensive experience of helping our clients to develop winning brand and communications strategies. We’re delighted to recognise his contribution with this promotion and pleased to support his career development at Kantar TNS.”
As Head of Brand & Communication, Asia Pacific, Nitin will lead a team of experts across the region as they advise clients on strengthening their brands, increasing the effectiveness of communications campaigns and ultimately, driving sales.
Nitin commented, “It is an exciting time for Brand & Communication research as the ways customers experience and connect with brands have seen huge changes. Kantar TNS has invested heavily to develop innovative solutions to meet the changing needs of our clients. I’m delighted to lead Kantar TNS’s team of incredible practitioners in this field.”
Nitin has worked for Kantar TNS for 12 years, managing significant clients in markets including Egypt, India, Taiwan and Thailand before moving to Singapore. Prior to taking on this new role, Nitin was responsible for client service in Singapore and led one of Kantar TNS’s largest accounts regionally. He moves into his new role with effect from 1st July 2013.
