London: 16 December, 2013 - Global research consultancy Kantar TNS, has today announced the appointment of Chhavi Bhargava as Managing Director, India & Sri Lanka. Chhavi, who joined Kantar TNS in 2008 and has been Managing Director for North India for the past 18 months, will report to Raghavan (Rags) Srinivasan, Chairman, Kantar TNS India.

Rags commented, “Chhavi has a deep understanding of the Indian market and the needs of our clients. She has tremendous passion and energy and has demonstrated true leadership skills that I am confident will support the growth of our business in India and Sri Lanka.” Chhavi has over 20 years’ experience in the research industry and has held leadership roles with both IMRB and Millward Brown prior to joining Kantar TNS. In her time with Kantar TNS, she has had responsibility for a number of different business units and significant client relationships.

When discussing her new role, Chhavi said, “I am incredibly excited by this opportunity to lead the next period of growth for Kantar TNS in India. We have an outstanding team of highly committed people, who I believe are well placed to deliver our future success.”

Chhavi begins her new role on 1 January 2014 and will be based in Gurgaon, India.
