Leendert de Voogd

Political and Social Sector Head

Leendert de Voogd is Global Sector Head of TNS’s Political and Social sector, a position he assumed in October 2007.  In this role, Leendert is responsible for driving TNS Political and Social business around the world.

Leendert has spent the last four years as Managing Director of TNS opinion, TNS’s Political and Social co-ordination centre which runs the major Eurobarometer study across 33 countries.

With more than 10 years experience of international survey co-ordination particularly in the field of opinion polling, Leendert brings to TNS an excellent knowledge of working relationships with major public institutions like the European Commission and expertise in public opinion issues.

Prior to joining TNS five years ago, Leendert, who is based in Brussels (Belgium), was Research Director at the Political Department of IFOP (France).

Leendert has been a speaker in several conferences organised by European institutions and has represented TNS in WAPOR annual meetings.

Leendert has a Masters degree in Political Sciences, from the University of Louvain (UCL -Belgium).
