Elaine Riddell

Healthcare Sector Head

Elaine Riddell was appointed CEO of TNS Healthcare, the world’s largest primary research provider to the global healthcare industry, in 2003. Unifying TNS’ Healthcare business into a truly global organisation, she has strengthened its market leading position across the worldwide pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries.

With more than 25 years of pharmaceutical and research experience, she has focused the organisation on delivering innovations that optimise clients’ brand, sales, treatment and communications performance—strengthening decisions across the life cycle, at both the head office and local markets.

Prior to TNS Healthcare, Elaine served as CEO of NOP World Health where she developed a breakthrough model offering the full range of primary research services - consulting, basic and multi-client from a single source - which has since been copied throughout the industry.

Previously, Elaine was President of Market Measures Interactive (MMI), and also held key senior positions at IMS in the US and Canada, as well as at Abbott Laboratories.

Elaine Riddell has a degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
