Monitoring Report Digital Germany - Global ICT Benchmark Study

TNS Business Intelligence, the desk research specialist of the TNS Group, has published the "Monitoring Report Digital Germany" on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. This global benchmark report compares the performance of Germany's information and communication (ICT) industry with 14 top global ICT industries. It uses the latest development figures in 21 key performance indicator areas such as eCommerce, Internet usage, patent applications, eGovernment, etc and creates international benchmarks. In the course of two workshops, the results of the global benchmark were analysed and supplemented by experts from the Executive Board and management of leading companies in the ITC industry. Leading foreign experts were also asked for their assessments within the framework of a direct comparison between Germany and the world leader, the USA, and between Germany and the aspiring ICT location China.

The German publication of the report on the occasion of the Fourth National IT Summit, a high-profile summit of the local ICT industry and political institutions, was met by an overwhelming press echo, generating more than media 350 citations within one week.

The following 15 countries are covered: China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Spain, South Korea and the USA.
