    Released to coincide with International Women's Day, findings from the Voice of the People© survey, conducted by TNS and Gallup International show that nearly half of Asia’s citizens still think that women do not have equal rights with men in their countries.  The poll, which interviewed over 60,000 people in 64 countries, also shows that Asia is home to many who think education is more important for boys than for girls, despite the vast majority expecting the wife as well as the husband to contribute to the household income.
