Paul Vittles of TNS wins Best Presentation Award at research society conference

TNS Market Research Paul Vittles

Sydney, 1 September 2008 – Multi award-winning speaker Paul Vittles, Director and Executive Coach with global research firm TNS, has won the Best Presentation Award at the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS) WA Conference held in Perth last week.

Paul’s paper, “The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create It” was voted overwhelmingly as the best presentation by the audience of researchers and marketers.

Paul was one of the UK’s leading conference speakers before moving to Australia in 2005. His first presentation at the 2005 AMSRS National Conference won the Best Paper Award with a judging panel deciding that, of the 33 papers and presentations, Paul was the stand out for his compelling story “Research as a Life Changing Experience”.

Having developed a reputation as an authority on behaviour change and vision-led marketing, Paul is speaking at the next AMSRS National Conference in Melbourne on 15 September. His presentation is entitled “The Dynamics of Change (or, We’re All in the Vision Business Now!)”.

Paul has presented at numerous conferences in Australia, including the IQPC Consumer Insights Conference where his talk on “Innovation via Liberation” was highly acclaimed.

He has also spoken at the 2006 and 2007 Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) Government Marketing Conferences; speaking on “Community Engagement: Where there’s a will, there’s a way” in 2006 and invited back in 2007 with his paper “The Challenges of Change, Innovation and Engagement”.

For the past 10 years, Paul has been practising as an Executive Coach, having trained with the UK Academy for Chief Executives (ACE). He provides coaching to TNS colleagues and clients, speaks at conferences about coaching and leadership, and runs workshops entitled “Unlocking Human Potential Through Coaching”.

Two years running TNS has been a favourite; Lee Ryan won Best Paper Award for “Engaging the Consumer” at the 2007 WA Conference.
