TNS Media Research in Spain has been awarded ‘Best Research Agency of the Year’.

    TNS Media Research in Spain has been awarded ‘Best Research Agency of the Year’ by ‘Control de la Publicidad, a leading marketing and advertising magazine. The magazine’s annual awards recognise agencies in all categories of marketing services and advertising. For the ‘Best Research Agency’ award, readers of the magazine voted TNS the agency they felt had shown the most initiative within the industry in the past year.

    In 2007-2008, TNS Media Research effectively managed the enormous change created by the rise of new digital TV broadcasters and the resulting media fragmentation. TNS Media Research replaced all meters with the new modular 5000 generation; a meter able to measure all types of broadcast. To increase analysis capabilities, TNS Media Research launched a new version of its audience measurement software InfoSys+ at successful events in Madrid and Barcelona. Then in June, TNS Media Research announced a sample increase to 4,500 households. The improved sample size will ensure analysis remains strong within the newly-fragmented media market.

    ‘Control de la Publicidad’ awarded TNS ‘Best Research Agency’ in 2005 and second place in 2006 and 2007.

    TNS Media Research Managing Director Alberto de Pablo will receive this year’s award at a gala dinner in Madrid on October 23rd.
