Lauren Moores, VP of Data and Research, Adam Guy VP of Client Services, Controller Lisa Jones Join Management Team
Boston, MA - August 26, 2008 - Compete, Inc., a leading web analytics company and unit of TNS media, today announced the promotions of Lauren Moores and Adam Guy as well as the appointment of Controller Lisa Jones to the management team. With this announcement, Moores becomes Vice President of Data and Research, and Guy assumes the role of Vice President of Client Services.
In her new role, Moores will hold responsibility for Compete’s entire data catalog, as well as ensuring data quality, and overseeing data operations, survey operations, and methodologies. As Vice President of Client Services, Guy will manage client relationships and delivery across all vertical groups, including Automotive, Financial Services, Online Media and Search, Telecom and Travel. In her role as Controller, Jones directs all aspects of Compete’s financial operations and manages the Finance and Administration team.

Moores will be Compete’s first Vice President of Data and Research. The new position elevates data oversight to the management team level and emphasizes the company’s industry-leading data as the foundation of Compete’s competitive differentiation and the foundation of the company’s culture. Moores brings more than 20 years of experience in data creation and delivery to her new role, including four years at the helm of Compete’s Data and Research team. Prior to joining Compete, Moores directed content operations, integration and optimization services at OneSource Information Services and was an economist at DRI/McGraw Hill.
As Vice President of Client Services, Guy will assume overall responsibility for client services across all of the vertical markets that Compete serves. Guy has over a decade of experience in research and market intelligence, including three years as Compete’s Managing Director for the Telecommunications and Media practices. Prior to joining Compete, Guy was a Senior Analyst at the Yankee Group, the Director of Wireless Research at InfoTek Research and a Senior Analyst of Mobile Wireless Research at The Strategis Group.
Jones brings 20 years of financial management experience to her role as Controller, including more than five years with Compete. Her previous experience includes roles within public and private technology firms including Geotrust, Be Free, Inc and Marcam Solutions.
