This changing continent is our home and we have been conducting research in LatAm for more than three decades.
From 2003 to 2008, Latin America’s economies grew on average over 5% annually, inflation remained under control, credit expanded and exports boomed. While the continent, like every other part of the world, has been hit by the 2009 recession, the region’s engine, Brazil, dipped into recession for only 2 quarters and is already back on the growth path, with other countries following suit
This changing continent is our home and we have been conducting research in LatAm for more than three decades, from small studies in the countryside to large international studies for the world’s multi-nationals. TNS understands the consumer in this part of the world better than any other company. In 2009, for example, we interviewed close to a million consumers in the region, and these consumers have given both us and our clients key insights into their lives, attitudes and behaviour: insights which can drive the business of our clients in Latin America.
Company owned offices in 15 countries around the region with more than 600 full-time employees.

TNS has a wide-spread field and operations infrastructure in place in the region. Our field offices have experience in a variety of data collection methodologies: F2F, CATI, CAWI, across all markets in the region and across a wide variety of sectors and clients.
The digital era is rapidly changing the way companies do business and how consumers interact with brands and products. Latin America, alongside other emerging markets is showing rapid growth in Internet penetration and other technologies. The next few years will continue to show high growth in internet connections in the region, increasingly penetrating the lower middle and lower class households.
So, the reality is that research is moving online also and will continue to do so. TNS knows that online research is key to the future of business, and is investing heavily in ensuring we offer a quality service in online studies with high quality panels, interactive tools and solutions, and online research expertise in LatAm.
