We are now looking for Project Director / Associate Director to join our Technology Research Services Division in our Singapore office.
The responsibilities:
- Anticipate and identify emerging business issues and/or opportunities
- Develop and manage a key account team in TNS Singapore which covers both local and regional research programs
- Develop and grow client relationships with this key account and others into partnerships and business opportunities
- Maintain effective business/partnership relationships with key international/regional clients and functional areas
- Provide expert advice to clients on business strategy and planning; present findings and insight
- Direct the team’s efforts in the most effective use of analytic processes and research methodologies to address clients’ business issues
- Develop the team’s knowledge and coach them in the use of analytical skills to conduct high quality research
- Manage the team on a day to day basis and to ensure their growth in the organization
The prerequisites:
- A bachelor’s degree in business/marketing, or a professional degree
- At least 6-8 years market research or marketing business experience, either agency or client side in the Technology sectorincluding software, hardware and telecommunication
- At least two of which in a middle management position; covering both staff and commercial management
- Excellent skills in customized research; in addition to the command of data caveats, sources and applications
- Competent to presentresearch findings to senior audiences professionally
- Experience in working closely with cross-functional and multi-national teams especially business and senior management
- Excellent project management and organizational skill, and demonstrated ability to manage large multi-country studies
- Desire to work in a highly challenging, fast-paced, and changing environment
- Attentive to details and showing strategic insights in the delivery of research findings
