Processing the content of all daily newspapers and other related publications to identify and collate all relevant coverage for our clients
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be familiar with the contents of client briefs and all other client requirements
- Process all digitally-based coverage from national daily titles and their supplements as allocated on the processing system by the Nightshift Operations Manager:
- Process all allocated national coverage article by article, accepting and allocating all relevant codes and creating an appropriate summary for each article processed.
- Delete all non-relevant articles as they occur
- Read and process all non digitally-based content from national titles or their supplements that match the requirements of individual client briefs:
- Manually prepare cuttings and load to system allocating to client and creating an appropriate article summary where required.
- Prepare bespoke article/client summaries from all processed national coverage to agreed levels of accuracy and presentation within required timeframes and deadlines.
- Check client packs for overall quality and despatch as per client requirements.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- A keen interest in current affairs
- An eye for detail
- Minimum typing speed of 45-50wpm
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Fully prepared to work shifts
- Able to work as part of a team
WORK PATTERN:
Nightshift 9 hours per shift: 23h00 to 08h00 (7nights on – 7 nights off)
HOLIDAYS
20 days per annum (pro rata)
