    We are now looking for a Senior Research Manager to join our Research Services Division in our Hong Kong office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage a key account team in TNS Hong Kong which covers both local and regional research programs
    • Responsible for managing and serving a range of international clients and to conduct high quality research
    • Able to independently handle a broad variety of tasks of the research process including client briefings in Hong Kong and/or abroad, proposal writing and reports, project design and implementation, analysis and interpretation of findings and presentation of results
    • Develop the team’s knowledge and coach them in the use of analytical skills to conduct high quality research
    • Direct the team’s efforts in the most effective use of analytic processes and research methodologies to address clients’ business issues.

    Prerequisites:

    • A bachelor’s degree in business/marketing, or a professional degree
    • At least 5 years market research or marketing business experience, at least two of which in a management position
    • Demonstrated management experience, covering both staff and commercial management
    • Command of primary market research skills is required; in addition to the command of data caveats, sources and applications
    • Strong leadership, good people skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Experience in working closely with cross-functional and multi-national teams especially business and senior management
    • Excellent project management and organizational skill, and demonstrated ability to manage large multi-country studies
    • Desire to work in a highly challenging, fast-paced, and changing environment;
    • Attentive to details and showing strategic insights in the delivery of research findings;

    Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Research Manager.
