We currently have an exciting vacancy for an international ‘Director’ or ‘Associate Director’ in our Technology team.
TNS is the largest customized research information group in the world and the leading provider in Asia Pacific. Our Korea office in Seoul is one of the group’s key hubs for Technology research and handles a number of key clients in the country. The TNS Technology sector is a practice within TNS which delivers market information and consultancy to multi-national Technology and Consumer Electronics clients.
We currently have an exciting vacancy for an international ‘Director’ or ‘Associate Director’ in our Technology team. We welcome responses from researchers all over the world for this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing (or contributing to managing) large scale global research programs, supported by a team of research specialists. The position will be based in Seoul while travel to other global destinations is likely.
The responsibilities:
- Client management of a large consumer electronics account, including building relationship with senior level client HQ contacts,
- Leverage brand, retail, and tracking experience to improve research design, analytics, and insight delivery.
- Project management and team management of several large consumer electronics retail projects – supported by teams of up to 5 staff.
- Co-ordinate and lead relations with global subsidiaries of our client as well as TNS partner offices and ensure a globally aligned service model is implemented.
- Present findings to global and regional stakeholders at the client (includes leading of action driving workshops throughout the world).
- Monitor project planning, budgets, P&L, timelines, and client expectations.
- Build a closely knit international team and ensure continuous growth in team-members skills and capabilities.
The prerequisites:
- Degree holder with minimum of 10 years experience in Market Research, either agency or client side. Candidates with less experience may be considered for Senior Researcher level.
- Experienced in managing and leading multi-national projects with high complexity; proven track record is required.
- Experience in brand tracking and/or retail tracking programs.
- Knowledge and experience in Consumer Brand Equity measurement programs.
- Excellent skills in customized research. Additional experience in qualitative and secondary research is an added benefit.
- Competent to present research findings to senior audiences professionally.
- Experienced in managing and leading multi-national projects with high complexity; proven track record is required.
- Business-like report writing capability is a must.
